As you think about your work on project #3, what is the user's mental model with respect to the feature in YouTube you are redesigning / designing?
The user's mental model in regards to the recommended videos feature has to do with how accessible and easily navigable the videos are. Users want to be able to simply flow through the different recommendations to have an enjoyable user experience.
How might this mental model contrast with the implementation model of the programmers?
This might contrast with the implementation model of programmers because programmers care more about how a site's interface works with their code rather than how usable a user may find the layout. The programmers do not think of how a user will be able to flow through the different tabs, which is why designers need to take the mental model into account while designing.
