My design in Project 3 was to increase social interactions by modeling YouTube after social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. YouTube would still have the same functions as before and keep the main focus around watching videos, but this addition would allow people to better network with their friends and other peers. Our new additions on the YouTube page would be revamping the "My Channel" function by allowing users to make that more personalized, improving the search engine to find other users, and adding more engines to sign in through besides just Google+ (Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
"The Unnecessary Test" would be my approach to better my design. We placed a focus on being able to view your friends recommended videos, but with further discussion, it seems like that would be an unnecessary feature and worth dropping to simplify the page or make room for other ideas.
