My team's project 3 design was to better the YouTube full screen app on Android devices. This design made it possible for users to stay in full screen mode the whole time while in the app. By staying in full screen, it would help users to navigate easier through the app without having to exit full screen then go back in to view the video.
Using the "60 Second Deadline" I would end up getting rid of the related videos because they are not completely necessary. Some people do not even use this feature so it is not all that needed. They can search for videos and related ones will come up in the search that they do. Another feature that could be dropped would be comments. Again, not everyone uses the comments. YouTube is a video site so the only thing really needed is to be able to view and upload videos. So the search, video players, and uploaders are the essential features needed. The player needs to be simple and easy to use without too many features and these drops will make the full screen player less cluttered.
