Netflix is all about control. The why of Netflix is to give customers the control to watch what, when, where and how (The last two mostly deal with mobile devices). This is in great contrast to way television has been for so long, sans On-demand which is most out of date service I have seen. People who watch Netflix believe in being in control, and this gives people more than entertainment, it gives satisfaction. The most important bit about Netflix is how they fit into rest of circles. The "why" lead to how and what, which is if Simon Sinek is to be trusted, is why Netflix is so popular.
