I decided to write about the Circa news app because its design is simple and very user friendly.  This informative application contains several stories on different topics that can easily be viewed by clicking on text boxes and  pictures. One thing I like about this application's design is that it's consistent.  Everything is organized very similarly from selecting a category to finding a story to read about.  For example, all of the different categories and story headlines/pictures are displayed in a similar rectangle pattern, and can be navigated by swiping up and down on the screen. This design makes it easy to go from story to story without much hesitation since all of the pages have such a similar layout.  There is also an x button in this app which is an obvious design to get off the catgory page, and a different button (3 bars, most likely representing the rectangular category boxes) which is in the same position as the x button to get back on the page. Another obvious design is that all of the categories contain their most recent information near the top of their pages which helps keep the app relevant and appealing to users.
