The app that I chose for an obvious design is the new Sportscenter app. It used to be very difficult to navigate however, until this new design came out. It clearly has the sports and their scores marked out. Sliding between news and things that are happening now are very easy. The tabs at the bottom help the user find the things that were the most difficult to find before the improvement. You can set favorite teams to help with finding the news for the teams you really want to see.
